New Member to Board of Directors at Shuffle Master, Inc

Todd D. Jordan has been elected to the Company's Board of Directors, Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select Market: SHFL) announced today, increasing the size of the Board to five members including four outside directors.

The Board of Directors of the Company has also appointed Mr. Jordan as a member of the Governance Committee, the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee.

Mr. Jordan is a Senior Analyst at Ardsley Partners, a Connecticut-based hedge fund covering various consumer related sectors. He earned a Masters of Business Administration in Analytical Finance with Honors from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.

Prior to joining Ardsley Partners, he was employed at Cobalt Capital in a similar capacity and also spent eight years as a sell side analyst with a variety of companies covering the gaming, lodging, leisure and restaurant sectors including Buckingham Research Group, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Raymond James and Associates.
